I did a degree at Chelsea School of Art in Fashion and textiles before setting up a clothing label ‘Joe Public’ with a fellow student .
We were one of the first to be awarded a Princes Trust grant and ran the business successfully for three years specialising in print and print/knitwear garments.
I then moved into animation working as a colour consultant and costume maker for stop frame animation.
That led to working as a costume designer on live action/animated commercials then onto pop promos and eventually feature films.
I am totally passionate about the look of whatever I get asked to do, work well under pressure and with other people and get the job done always …
When I do have free time ….. I enjoy taking clothes apart and remodelling them, paddle boarding and running around on the beach with my badly behaved dog and husband.
In the last 6 months I have been involved as a volunteer with CWNN (Choir With No Name) an organisation for people affected by homelessness and marginalisation which meets on a regular basis to sing and then eat food together (favourite song so far Ibeyi Riverhttps://youtu.be/lHRAPIwsS5I
